Delete your data

You can delete your entire Taabik account, or just part of your data, at any time — both are permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete part of your data

You don't need to delete your account to remove specific things:

• A trip — open it in your journey and choose Delete. Removes that trip, its notes and its photos.
• A photo — open the trip, then the photo, and choose Delete. Removes just that photo.
• A comment — open the comment and choose Delete.
• A follow — unfollow anyone from their profile.

Each of these takes effect immediately and is available directly in the app — no request needed.

Delete your whole account

Deleting your account removes everything at once: the account is removed, not frozen or hidden, and it cannot be recovered.

In the app

1. Open Taabik and go to Settings.
2. Scroll to Delete account.
3. Type the confirmation word and confirm.

By email

If you no longer have the app, write to founders@taabik.com from the address on your account. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: username, display name, avatar, bio, passport country and home city.
• Every trip you logged, with its notes, dates and coordinates.
• Every photo you uploaded, removed from storage and not only unlinked.
• Your follows, cheers, comments and tags.
• Your XP, badges and leaderboard position.
• Your sign-in itself, so the email can start fresh later.

Server logs containing an IP address and timestamp age out within 30 days. We keep nothing else, except where the law requires it or where it is needed to prevent fraud or abuse.
